Up for sale is my 1997 F-350 Crew Cab long Bed. Powered by the legendary and everlasting 7.3L Powerstroke diesel engine with only 144,000 original miles on it! Yes as good as it looks, that paint is also original!
I hate to see this go, but due to circumstances I must downgrade to something less beautiful and valuable that I can beat up more. This is too clean, and I’d rather someone it go to someone who can keep it that way.
I am the third owner of this truck, which was owned for 25 of its 27 years by the original owner in Washington where it was garaged.
This truck has never been tuned. I’ve done my best to keep this beast as original as possible, with the following upgrades done professionally for the best longevity and ride:
– Front shackle swap/ lift and level (produces smoother than stick ride and leveled the truck
– Bilsteins all around
– 315 BF Goodrich tires
– 4” Banks turbo exhaust down pipe with 5” chrome tip
– Banks Power intercooler system
– CTS Edge2 OB reader/ display (No tuning done – simply a reader as it stands) pictured on the dash.
– Pictured camper shell not currently mounted but is included
– I do have a custom Jellibuilt tune system for the truck which includes 6 tunes for THIS truck specifically by VIN, which I never installed (will come with purchase).
All fluids have always been changed at regular intervals, with no other maintenance required or even anticipated at this point. I have ALL paperwork for the vehicle including any professional installations and the original Ford owners manuals (pictured).
The interior is near-mint condition with no tears in upholstery, headliner, or dash (which has been covered with the pictured dash cover since I bought it). ALL lights, displays, gauges, and electronics such as windows and seats work and read correctly.
The truck is a 4×4 with original Alcoa wheels and Warn manual-locking hubs.
*Full disclosure of the good AND bad, an item on the truck that has been on my list to address is the aesthetic/ surface rust on the main frame and underside from its time in Washington. None of this rust penetrates any component and has not hindered any maintenance or work I’ve done. It has been on my list to blast off for some time. It is a 27 year old truck, and this is my only ‘con’ comment on it at all.
The motor runs strong as ever and sounds beautiful with the Banks exhaust system. Truly this truck is the top of the line from when it was purchased and has been well-preserved.
Own a (massive) beautiful piece of history! I hope to let this go to someone who cares for it; feel free to reach out with any questions or to take a look. It’s likely I’ve forgotten or missed something great on this truck in this list.
