1974 F100. 2wd longbed 3speed manual transmission ( stock column shifter) 302 5L V8
True Mileage unknown reads around 84k currently 99% sure it’s rolled over at least once. I’ve only owned the truck the last 4 years.
Clean Florida title.
When I purchased the truck it was bone stock, over the years the following upgrades / repairs have been made amongst regular oil changes and some other things here and there.
Power break booster
New shocks
New gas tank and fuel system.
Dual exhaust
Led headlights and rear lights
New Dashpad
Rebuilt column shift linkage
Edelbrock AVS 2 500 cfm 4 barrel carb was added in conjunction with corresponding edelbrock intake manifold.
With purchase I will include LMC truck blue carpet kit, sound deading kit and rubber seals kit. Approx a 500$ value. You can’t even get the rubber kit currently as it’s back ordered.
Running and driving truck, I get thumbs ups and compliments almost every time I take her out. Needs someone to give her some TLC I haven’t been able to lately.
Current issues include:
Exhaust gasket on right side on engine needs replacing and the exhaust there needs to be reconnected.
Engine / carb likely needs a tune up, I’d recommend getting new spark plugs and maybe a compression test some who can get it all humming.
Some small electrical things the cabin light doesn’t turn on consistently and the blinkers don’t work.
Parking break is suspect after the pedal got stuck on me more than once I just throw the truck into gear when parked so it won’t roll away.
There’s some oil leakage but that’s probably not uncommon for a 47 year old truck.
Surface rust as seen in photos and aging paint but it has a cool patina if your into that kinda thing. Frame is in good shape.
I think this is a great vintage 1970s truck for someone to take to the finish line and turn into a great weekend cruiser. AC and power steering would be my next steps to really make the truck more enjoyable.
